Echiste: a Description

Construction of a large Xboat facility has fallen well behind schedule.  Originally intended to add a route from Risek to Echiste to Yori to Regina, the route would take three weeks of the long-range communication time to the Core.  That would open up commercial and business opportunities in this area.  The project was started in 1107, and was planned to open in 1109.  Poor quality work, labor difficulties, and a severe weather problem all contributed to the delays.  The current contractor, Allen & Walker, LIC of Risek (0302 Rhylanor), is now in severe financial difficulty.  The IISS is committed to this route, however, even if it means starting again with another company.
