Psionics Institute
Officially, all 65 of the Imperial Psionics Institutes were closed in 800
when the Psionic Suppressions hit. In fact, two of these (on Regina,
later relocated to Wypoc but retaining a recruiting base on Regina,
and Terra) continued to operate secretly under the auspices of the
Imperial government. Today, almost all of the original institutes have
been reestablished by their partisans, and dozens of additional institutes
have been formed since on other worlds. The Imperial Navy also conducts
secret research on psionics at several locations, including a laboratory on
Vanajen (Spinward Marches 3119) and an immense brand new complex under
the mountains of Wonstar (Spinward Marches 0538).
