An explosion ripped through a government building in the capital of Ianic this morning, destroying the building and killing 32. A further 120 were injured and taken to hospital for treatment; 12 of those died in traffic accidents on the way.
The Jonkeereen separatist group Urban Desert Army claimed responsibility for the blast, and said that further acts of terrorism would continue until a Bureau for Jonkeereen Affairs was established.
A spokesman for the political organization Jonkeereen Rights Party denied
any connection with the UDA, and condemned the terrorists. Their
leader Armis Kowrollian is currently offworld, presenting a Petition
for Imperial Intervention to the Archduke on behalf of the JRP.
