Survey, Second (published 1065): The second comprehensive
survey of the Imperium, which was
performed by the Scout Service, and which updated the long obsolete and
incomplete data in the First Survey. The
Second Survey was seventy years in compilation, went to greater lengths
than the first survey, and included more world data as well as more complete
astrographic data. In addition, the expansion of the Imperium since 420
had added many new worlds that had to be included.
