Nabokov (3118 Dark Nebula DAF4532-2): Nabokov
is a strange world. Its thin, low atmosphere makes life impossible at altitudes
greater than a few hundred meters above sea level. However, there are a
great many below sea level valleys which make it possible for more than
nine hundred thousand inhabitants to survive. The world's main export is
wellspice, a rare compound used in pharmaceuticals. Wellspice is extracted
from a lichen which grows naturally in deep rock holes on Nabokov. -dn
